Welcome Back Beauty Bargain Hunters!
We have reached the third and final part of my Holy Grail Make Up Products: Eye and Cheek Products! If you have not seen the first two parts, look through my older posts to see my Holy Grail lip products and face products. Here are all the products that I can not live without when it comes to eye and cheek makeup. I have been thinking of doing another couple posts on other types of products I consider Holy Grail, like hair, body, etc. If you would be interested in seeing those, please leave me a comment on here or my social media letting me know! And be sure to read the very end of this post for a huge announcement! So here are the products:
Benefit They’re Real Mascara- This mascara is great for both volumizing and lengthening you lashes. It does not clump and my lashes stay curled all day. A lot of people talk about the little spikey ball on the end, but I’m not actually a fan of that part, I feel like that part can get a little clumpy. But overall, I have to say I have never been disappointed with my lashes after I use this mascara. I have actually used this mascara before to fix my lashes after I have used a different mascara and was not happy with how that one looked. I got this mascara from Sephora in the limited edition Love Fest kit when I had a 20% off whole purchase coupon).
Urban Decay Naked Palette- I’m sure everyone has already seen this palette and million times and heard how amazing it is so I won’t go crazy with my description. I just wanted to mention that when I’m looking for a palette I’m most drawn to find good blending shades. I feel like the shade you blend with really ties the whole look together and in this palette they have some amazing shades for that (Sin, Side Car, Toasted and Half Baked). If someone said they were taking all my palettes except one, I would definitely pick this one to keep! I got this when Urban Decay had their 25% off sale on their website last year (they usually have this sale two or three times a year).
Benefit Rockateur Blush- I bought this blush solely because of peer pressure. I heard everyone talk about this blush for months, the beautiful color, the wonderful glow, even the smell was amazing to everyone. So finally I broke down and bought and everyone was right! This blush is just the best. I wear this to every special occasion. It just gives the prettiest tan-pink color and it has enough shine in it that you don’t need a highlighter to look glowy. I also love this because I sometimes have a heavy hand with blush and with this one, it’s very hard to apply too much, it always looks good no matter how much I put on. And of course, it does smell great too! I got this at either Sephora or Ulta with a 20% off your whole order coupon.
Physicians Formula Highlighter in Natural Nude- This is a highly pigmented, beautiful highlighter but the reason it made it in my holy grail product is because of how versatile it is. This highlighter is divided in to 12 squares and each square is a different color and the squares that are similar colors are grouped together. So if glide you brush across the top row you get a white highlight, the middle a pinkish highlight and bottom a tan highlight. So it’s perfect for whatever type you prefer. I have only had this product for about 2 weeks and it’s already Holy Grail for me, that is saying something! I purchased this at CVS when they were having their 40% off Physician Formula product sale and the box had a $3 off coupon on it.
The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter- This highlighter gives your face the most beautiful glow. It’s highly pigmented so you only need a small amount (I like to use the ELF fan brush to apply it). It would work well with any skin tone and lasts all day. You can also use this as an eye shadow also (it makes a beautiful blending color). I got this when The Balm products were on Haute Look but The Balm website occasionally has flash sales where their whole website will be 50% off- be sure to follow me on Instagram and Twitter to know when those will be!
Too Face Chocolate Soleil Bronzer- A bronzer that looks amazing and smells like chocolate! I love this bronzer for contouring and for warming up my face, neck and chest. It gives the skin a nice, even tan that does not look like you used bronzer. You can not see lines or streaks (you do need to blend obviously, but not as much as with other bronzers I have used). I was scared to use this one at first because it does look really tan in the pan and I have very pale skin, but it didn’t look too dark or dramatic on my skin, even in the winter (if you really don’t like using a bronzer this dark, they do make a Milk Chocolate version that is lighter). I purchased this at Sephora with a 20% off whole order coupon.
